Today History of FBC Majdanpek


Today


FBC Majdanpek is a specialized manufacturer of sanitary and industrial copper tubes highly ranked throughout Europe.

Our high-quality input materials, state-of-the-art equipment and the applied copper tube manufacturing technology (pressing, cold rolling, extrusion) ensure the top quality of our products.


The production runs under strictly controlled conditions.

Process of manufacturing and delivering copper tubes is in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 (certificate by British Standards Institution No. FM 86683).

FBC Majdanpek possesses quality designations: KITEMARK ( United Kingdom), NF (France) and DVGW (Germany) and manufactures copper tubes according to all EU, US and other national standards.

Products manufactured by FBC Majdanpek are used in the following countries: United Kingdom, France, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Italy, Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Iran, South Africa...

History of FBC Majdanpek



FBC Majdanpek was founded on January 1, 1979 and operated as an integral part of Copper Processing Industry Zajecar.

In 15.05.1979 our plant produced first batch of products. In this connection, Birthday of Copper tube plant Majdanpek assumed 15 May.

Its first transformation took place in 1981, since when FBC Majdanpek has been operating within Copper Processing Industry Bor.

In the following years FBC Majdanpek was transformed in accordance with legislation, first into a joint-stock company, and then into a limited liability company that operated as a subsidiary within Mining-Smelting Basin Bor .

On January 27, 2004, at a public auction held in Belgrade, FBC Majdanpek was privatized and is currently a joint-stock company without any state-owned shares.

For all years of its operation, FBC Majdanpek has been operating in a turbulent market with over 80% of its annual output exported into numerous world-wide markets.
